Yiwu Introduced New Policy to Support the Development of E-commerce

It’s learned from the Market Trade Development Bureau that recently Yiwu introduced a new policy to promote the development of e-commerce. The policy aims to play the guiding role of financial capital, optimize the e-commerce environment in multi-levels and to accelerate the development of e-commerce in our city.

In the respect of fostering the main parts of e-commerce, the new policy pointed out that any comprehensive or well-known professional e-commerce businesses who set up headquarters in our city or develop projects that have significant impact on e-commerce development will benefit from “one condition, one solution” policy:

Those third party e-commerce service platforms with the membership fee income of more than a million yuan annually, enterprises that for the first time realize the breakthrough with 1000, 2000 or 5000 register-charge members and those business entities whose annual sales revenue for the first time break through 5 million, 10 million or 20 million yuan by e-coomerce, such as B2B, B2C or C2C etc. will be awarded 100,000 to 800,000 yuan.

On improving the e-commerce supporting system, the new policy pointed out those self-built third-party payment platforms with average daily capital flow of more than 3 million yuan will be awarded 500,000 yuan annually for three years. To the new developed or renovated projects of logistics and distribution (including courier industry), to those hold sell-online commodity exhibitions or participate in the exhibition activities and to those build up e-commerce park and registered members, the government will give corresponding incentives and benefits based on physical truth.
