The 16th Yiwu Fair and the 3rd African Commodities Exhibition Ended Successfully

Yesterday, the 5-day 16th Yiwu Fair and the Third African Commodities Exhibition ended successfully.

According to the latest data issued by Organizing Committee of Yiwu Fair, this Fair achieved a total turnover of 12.767 billion yuan, increasing by 10.6%, of which foreign trade turnover is up to 1.16 billion U.S. dollars that accounts for 60.9% of the total turnover, increasing by 14.1%. The top five industries that have highest turnover are respectively daily necessities, hardware&electro mechanic, handicrafts, toys and cultural and office appliances.

It is noteworthy that at this Fair, the main exhibition hall held 134,400 domestic and foreign participants from 209 countries (regions) increasing by 9.0%. The buyer nationalities that this Fair received for the first time surpassed the United Nation that has 192 sovereign states and foreign trade teams alone are 80, all of which indicates that the internationalization road of Yiwu Fair has been better off.
